GREAT DRAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Strange question, but curious to know if Minnesota will fly to Milwaukee or bus it? Does anyone know if the team flies or busses it when they go to Madison?
Good seed. Love the 1st round matchup. hoping for a night game.
Literally could not have asked for anything more. The Gophers got the highest seed anyone thought possible AND the closest region. Not that Wisconsin hasn't had more than their share of good fortune over the years, but they have every right to be pissed right now. They swept the Gophers head to head, finished ahead of them in the regular season and advanced farther in the B1G tournament. End result? Badgers an 8 and the Gophers a 5...I hope we can all call a spade a spade here and admit that our team was the one that a got a break this time.
The ONLY negative I see with the Gophers draw is that it will now feel like a huge disappointment if they don't advance to at least the round of 32.
I live and Nashville and have watch both Vandy and MSTU all season long. MTSU can score pretty consistently. The local sports media is already calling for the upset on twitter. I am a little nervous but if the gophers pull it out I like the sweet 16 chances a lot.

how tall are their bigs? i see that they score but on ESPN they are listed at 6'8.. That's an advantage for us if they are small

Two 6-8 bigs that get tons of points and minutes. Here are the three leading minute-getters:
Name, Min, PPG, Height
Upshaw, 31.8, 14.5, 6-8
Potts, 30.6, 15.8, 6-2
Williams, 29.6, 17.3, 6-8
Is MTSU primarily a behind the arc type team that jacks a lot of 3s? Teams like that (and Michigan) tend to give us problems.

That bodes well for us I would think... Sure, these guys might put up points, but they haven't gone up against Big 10 talent like the Gophers have. That will be an advantage for Minnesota for sure
