First number listed is seed at the halfway point (after every team played 9 games), second number is their final seed.

Took me a minute to understand this but that is a cool way to look at it. Amazing what winning 8 straight games does.

It's interesting, but can be misleading, as well. Two of the teams I would not want to play right now are Iowa and Michigan (in part because we beat them both), both -1 in the second half. I don't mind that Iowa is on the other side of bracket from Gophers. I think Michigan State is the perfect first opponent for the Gophers. Not that teams should need any extra motivation for tournament play, but I'm confident Gophers would like a 3rd crack at Sparty.

Oh yeah, I'm with you. Misleading but interesting. Teams playing "really well" for 3 games do not make me that nervous. True colors usually shine through.

Yeah, Michigan and Iowa were both 6-3 in the 2nd half of the big ten. I don't think "seed" difference really shows us much of anything.
