Mitch will ramble for 70 yards and two TD's. Brooks and Smith will combine for another 150 yards
and a TD. Gophers will sack Sheriff Bart 4 times.Becky has a tough schedule. By the time they face us they will be pretty beat up. Nice win today, but I think LSU is over ranked.

I wouldn't worry too much about Wisky right now. ISU just laid some whoop a** on Butler. By the way, I know we hate Wisky, but this was a huge win for the B1G. Will make that victory against them that much sweeter. Any time the Big 10 upsets the SEC it's good for the Gophers.

Rupert has had a very difficult twelve years of watching Gopher football and we should indulge him his little fantasies.
 

I was underwhelmed by both those teams today, LSU had a decent defense, but Fournette is their
only player on offense.... no qb, no o-line.
Sconnie didn't play tops either, a couple fortunate plays, a miracle kick by the brazilian who misses
as much as he hits.

In the end, LSU at #5 was grossly more overrated than TCU last year at #2..

This isn't serious? LSU would motor boat us. I am pretty sure thier fat kicker hit about 70%. Come hate all you want but they played one hell of a game. They kept the Heisman favorite and top 10 nfl pick out of the endzone.

I'd have said boat raced but I enjoy being motorboated as much as the next person.
 

Whisky was a lot better prepared than us in this first game. Not really a predictor of an end of season result between us. I would much rather our rivalry with W became more like Mich/OSU than Hamline/McAlister.

Agree wholeheartedly. I am so sick of us losing to these guys, and we need our staff to improve our program up to where Wisconsin has been at. Its not impossible.

Christian McCaffrey and DeShaun Watson are 1-2 in virtually every reputable prediction.
 


If you want to crown them then crown them. Personally, I think you can't read too much into week one - especially as a predicted of what will happen in week 13. A lot will happen in the next 3-months that will have a lot more to do with the result in Madison in late November. Enjoy the ride.
