Official 2016 Recruiting Updates Thread: Links, Tweets, Videos, Stories, Rumors, etc.

According to Rivals, Watts is going to have to pull the Fred Flinstone and be in 2 places at once as he has official visits set for both Minnesota and Syracuse on the 11th.

I don't think he's visiting Syracuse anymore with their coach being fired.

Our decommit QB, Tony Puljan was just offered by Nebraska. Some speculation it may have been as a TE.

I think we should promote Carter right past LB and make him a recruiting assistant. The dude has got the "woo" going big time.

I'd prefer he plays 4 years here, wins us a couple BT championships, has a 12 year career in the NFL, then comes back in that capacity.

All of our O-line recruited were recruited by Limegrover. Losing Foster really stinks.

Judging from his Twitter I thought he was solid

He seemed solid and then "after speaking with coaching staff" "decommit immediately". Wonder what's happened. Did he get cold feet or is Claeys and staff identifying larger needs? Hard to part ways with a 4* OL at this point. Minnesota kids come for the school and out of state kids tend to follow the coaches. Keep a hold of the MN kids and defensive kids!

Can someone just hold me and tell me things will be ok?

That stinks

I keep hoping for good news, but so far....grrrr.

Looking back at Rivals, his offer list doesn't jump out for a 4*. Wonder if it will get updated. He likely quit updating when committed to the U.

I'm clinging to this. Foster may be more of a Wisconsin type lineman (and that's a compliment), but maybe we're going back to the more agile days of mason....ok, I've convinced myself, that's it. I'm back on board, yes I'm a total homer, but it helps get me thru.

Well, if Mason is going to be the offensive coordinator, he'd certainly want his preferred type of lineman.

Only Pirsig is a senior next year. We will still have 8 Freshmen on the roster.

Next year at this point.

But what if this kid flips from Missouri. We were in final three and Claeys is listed as his recruiter. Could we also land their OC? HMMMM.

What was our o-line philosophy?

Here are a list of things we are not:

- Strong
- Big
- Mobile
- Physical
- Flexible
