My first game at TCF

Hey guys, the Illinois game will be my first gopher game since getting back from Beijing. I left for Beijing in 2007, so I never saw A game at TCF. I am going to be riding the light rail to campus from downtown and plan on arriving to campus at around 9:30 or 10:00.

I have always been a big fan of the gophers, but have never tailgated before. Any chance I could meet and greet one of your guys tailgates while walking around campus before the game?

If you get on campus by 9:30, the Marching Band Plaza show (of which I am a part of) is something I always recommend, and that is happening at 9:50am in front of Mariucci Arena. Also Band Pregame show (in the stadium) starts at 10:39am, which I again recommend.

Our group will be tail gating in Lot 58 right behind the Sports Pavilion. You are certainly welcome to join us for a pregame tailgate. We will arrive about 7:00 a.m. and will begin to tear down about 10-10:15 a.m. to head to the game. We will be the first group of Gopher Canopy's on your left as you walk on 4th going west past William's Arena and the Sports Pavilion. Ask for Jan, Ed or Joe.
