Four-star Wisconsin RB verbal Antonio Williams decommits, opens recruitment

This is exactly right. He also ripped Stave on twitter during beckys game against Iowa which I'm sure the coaching staff didn't like

Some active players might not like that too. Maybe he had some folks waiting to welcome him to practice....

I'll be happy if we keep all our guys...not willing to celebrate the misfortunes of others. But he'd look great in the SEC.

Yep. I think losing our 4-star Snelson, and maybe some others, is a real possibility. Especially if we keep playing like we have up to this point (Purdue notwithstanding). I'll be happy also, and surprised, if we keep our guys. Bucky will likely have a chance to reciprocate the jokes.

If Kill gets them on campus, with the big facility push and the young RBs for the coming years and our defense...be crazy to leave for anyplace except a top 10 team...and even then, still crazy.

Also worth noting that 5 star LB Daelin Hayes and high 4 star DE Kahlid Kareem decommitted from USC and Bama respectively so Mich/MSU/OSU could get some nice players soon. Both from Michigan.

I'm somewhat skeptical about Snelson but who else do you feel we could lose? There are many reasons kids pick a school. For all we know Snelson wanted to go somewhere where he thought he could make a big impact right away.

By the way, I didn't start the thread to make fun of Wisconsin. It is a big deal for them. He is extremely talented.

At least he doesn't have grammatical errors in his de-committal tweet, like Stevenson

I'm not implying you were making jokes, as much as others. Jokes was a poor word choice to begin with, my fault. Schadenfreude, possibly. Wasn't my intention to shoot at the messenger, here.

Snelson is one I'm expecting (just gut feeling/opinion). Been hearing a lot of about Webber and OK St. lately. The Daniels Twins have been extremely enthusiastic, but it wouldnt shock me if they bailed for a pair of SEC offers (which I don't forsee).

Kids commit to placeholders like crazy these days, and say all the right things...until they leave. Can't really blame them for wanting a safety net with the hopes of climbing the ladder.

Just saying that it's a real possibility. Kill himself expresses concerns about getting all the kids to NSD. It's always a looming concern, especially in the weeks leading to NSD when you can get hung out to dry. If any are to decommit, we should hope it happens sooner than later. Considering we haven't had one in recent years (that I recall), I'd say we are due. It also comes with the territory when you start attracting big-time recruits with entitled attitudes.

I highly doubt Snelson cares about blueprints. He could go somewhere with elite facilities from day 1.

This is good news (just wanted this thread to get on top of thread about wisc recruit gaining a star).
