Minnesota. This season is beginning to look a lot like last year—all defense, little offense. Read my full take. Even worse, this year’s attack appears less equipped than last year’s without RB David Cobb. The Gophers tallied just 288 yards and 10 points vs. a Kent State defense that allowed 52 points to Illinois in the opener.

Seems like the coaches, the QB, and the RBs are getting more than their share of the blame here. Am I mistaken that the offensive line played atrocious yesterday? I don't think Cobb could have made something out of the nothing they were giving Smith yesterday.
 

I think we are missing those blocking TEs as much as anything. They might pick up those guys coming in on the edge.

The loss of Maxx is huge - a sophomore All-American (when was the last time that happened here?) who would have been a Mackey Award Winner and unanimous All-American this year.
