Go Gophers!!

And we might sink down to Quick Lane or Armed Forces. The one bright spot if the team wins only 6 or 7 games this season is they could get assigned to a bowl where they have a decent chance to win. I expect this team to play better as the season progresses but not good enough to play on a New Years' Day bowl.

Men I think we will feel better in two weeks after our win at northwestern

I'm hoping we'll do quite a bit better than the Pinstripe Bowl. So far as timing goes, a bowl game in the Bronx the day after Christmas is probably not ideal for many fans, and I would imagine it can be pretty fricken frigid at Yankee Stadium in December. It would work for me though, as that's about an 8 hour train trip. I could envision Minnesota and Boston College potentially meeting up. A lot of similarities there, two teams with nasty defenses and borderline putrid offenses.

Unlikely that BC would play there 2 years in a row.

Who says we're going to a bowl? Current prediction models across the board are showing us at 5-7. Seems about right to me.

no bowl would be a huge set back to this program including ticket sales next year with a soft home schedule (and raised license fees) and the heat on Kill

Foster Farms Bowl would be fun

But as said in the thread, it'd be very hard to travel to a Bowl the day after Christmas. I would imagine the student trip would leave on Christmas morning or Eve

Can we take a moment to appreciate the locations of the new Big Ten bowl line-up?? Ignoring whether the bowl is a solid bowl game or not, talk about some sweet cities:

Pasadena ----- Rose Bowl.
Orlando ------ Citrus Bowl.
Tampa Bay ----- Outback Bowl.
San Diego ----- Holiday Bowl.
Nashville ----- Music City Bowl.
NYC ----- Pinstripe Bowl.
San Fran ----- Foster Farms Bowl.
Detroit ---- Quick Lane Bowl
Fort Worth ---- Armed Forces Bowl.

Personally would be excited for every city on that list besides Detroit. Worst Bowl-Eligible teamed gets punished by being sent to Detroit
