per Chip:

The accumulation of disappointment over the years — NCAA violations, misdeeds, awful hires, heartbreaking defeats — has created this perception that the U can’t get out of its own way

This storm eventually will pass. Unfortunately, Gophers fans have been put in this position too many times.

Even when things look optimistic, some are always waiting for a new crisis or embarrassment to come along and spoil it. They’ve been conditioned to it.

They deserve a different narrative.

Go Gophers!!

This doesn't rock anything. I used to think Chip Scoggins was a decent writer. Unfortunately, he has turned into Souhan Lite. And that's not a good thing.

Agree. What a waste of time reading that article.

I would agree with you, and I'm an Iowa fan. People do bad stuff sometimes. It would only harm the university long-term had your administration stonewalled or not removed Teague. If anything, it should be encouraging that this sort of behavior isn't tolerated. Long-term, it's good for you all that Teague is gone as you can get someone of character in the position.
