So far, a tally of 2014 Gophers with NFL teams drafted and/or with potential of making rosters:

Maxx Williams - Ravens
Damien Wilson - Cowboys
David Cobb - Titans
Cedric Thompson - Miami
Cameron Botticelli - Chargers
Derrick Wells - Buccaneers
Isaac Freuchte - Vikings

Am I missing anyone else? Did Zach Epping ever make it?

Wow, this could be the makings of a banner class if they make the final cuts.

It will be great for recruiting if they all make it!

Great publicity when they announce it during the TCU game!

Just to have the added NFL helmets at the football complex for recruits to see would be a game changer.

Absolutely terrible number for Cobb. Do they think he'll play FB or something?

Honest question. How can a player's number be "terrible"?

I like 44 for a rb ala Chuck Foreman (also John Riggins, Floyd Little). However, assigning a LB 44 seems a bit odd to me. Maybe Dallas is indicating other plans for Wilson. Hopefully, it motivates him to impress the coaches in training camp.

Perhaps the cousins decided they wanted to wear the same number and 44 was the one that would work. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I thought it was illegal, but a quick internet search turned up a new rule for 2015. LB's can wear 40's. I love it! Brain Bosworth is pissed, though!

Wow - there is a nickname I never heard associated with The Bos. I didn't know he was so smart [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1].

Shonn Greene was cut by the Titans today, which should be good news for David Cobb's playing time. It's even better that the Titans are replacing a Hawkeye with a Gopher.

Saw this story in the Baltimore Sun: "It's probably best to temper expectations for Maxx Williams", By Jeff Zrebiec

While it overall details why rookie TE's struggle, also had a mention of his "uneven play". Nothing significant, but an interesting remark.

Pffft the writer is clearly pulling a Scott Templeton in order to get a Pulitzer. Disregard.
