Bob Knight is still broadcasting games on TV, although many may have forgotten since he has been relegated to calling American Athletic Conference games.

But on Thursday, he reminded everyone that he's still here and is still up to his same old tricks. Namely, yelling at fans for standing in front of him.

Go Gophers!!

If anyone has seen the movie Whiplash, I get the feeling that the JK Simmons character drew his inspiration from Robert M Knight.

Most evil character I've seen in a movie since the warden in Shawshank.

Why is Mr. Knight only doing AAC games? I'm obviously in the minority, but I enjoyed the games he did. I always learned something from him. Can't say the same for most color analysts

+1 Knight bashers are d-bags.

Because he's becoming increasingly un-photogenic.

Bob Knight has always been a jackass. He started out his broadcasting days as being insightful, but turned into an ex-coach talking about himself(instead of the game) and thought he was the show. Add to that he kept repeating himself over and over.

Players don't shot fake enough anymore.

I like Knight too - when he focuses on the game. It infuriates me when the play-by-play guy continually asks him questions about "back when you were coaching." Five minutes of game time - even at crunch time - can be consumed by this with no mention of Joey King getting his first rebound in 5 games.

I used to think Knight was a great announcer. He still has a wealth of knowledge, of course, but age has made him a shadow of his former self.

In addition to the shot fake issue, he relied on his knowledge of the game to carry him rather than actually knowing who happened to be playing the game that day and discussing it. I'm surprised he noticed that someone was standing in front of him. Can't imagine that it would have changed what he was talking about at the time.
