Does anyone have any insight or first hand viewing of the PWO's in this class? Which of any have a chance to earn a scholarship in the next few years. I think Parra coming in last year was a huge get for us. The locals kids coming from the big schools have a decent shot as they have had to share playing time with so many other players and may have only started for a year or two so I think the stats can be misleading.

I really don't think there was a Perra-level PWO in this class from Minnesota anyways. Kuehn and Cashman could maybe play at some point but I wouldn't expect it.

I watched Adam Mayer's Hudl video. Playing on the best high school team in the country he didn't really see the field until this year and played well. I think that, he could possibly develop into a pretty good slot receiver, he has good hands and uses his body well. There's definitely some potential.

No doubt that De La Salle, CA is a national powerhouse. Having said that, Bishop Gorman was the best team in the country this year.

I can only speak on the guys that I've seen play.

Morse is really good football. He is the kind of guy who could have gone D2 and dominated. I realize there is big difference between UMD and the Big 10. His biggest problem is going to be finding a position. He played a lot of QB in HS, but I believe he was a WR as a SO. I'd guess he'll play WR here. He is really good with the ball in his hands, so I'd imagine he could be pretty effective in the slot. He was a really good HS football player.

Mydra is a heck of a football player. He is undersized and not an amazing athlete, so that explains the lack of offers. I don't know if his skills will necessarily translate into being a starter. However, he is a really good tackler, he's tough, and he has absolutely has the ability to contribute on special teams. If you haven't yet, I'd watch his highlight tape, he's an impressive linebacker.

Freeman rated De La Salle number one and it's what was listed on Hudl. Depending on rater they were anywhere from 1 to 3. They are a perennial power and even a very good athlete might have to wait to start.
