Are you saying that coaches can't influence the mental states and confidence of their players? The guys who shot free throws in the second half tonight are normally better than that. Pitino hasn't done a great job of coaching in the conference this year. He's stressed and the players are stressed.

Agreed reffing was absolutely awful and pretty one sided all night tonight. Nebraska's defensive style is a lot of clutching and grabbing and refs let it go until about the 6 minute mark and then called everything. Mo got hammered a few times and never got a call, Hollins and Mason both had multiple looks in the lane where they got hit by the guy chasing them, and many more but the one that upset me the most was Morris getting hit on the elbow when he had the good look from 3 to tie it.
Just a really tough loss where not a lot went right for us and we couldn't get a bounce all night. Really should have had this game and needed it. I also can't stand Nebraska their players and Miles were whining about every foul on them even though they were lucky they weren't called for a lot more and their fans constant booing on every call was so annoying.

Domestic battery jokes may not be as bad as Holocaust or ethnic cleansing jokes, but they still should be avoided at all times.

I try to ignore your comments because you don't like me but this is a good one, you've outdone yourself here. Please tell me you're not using free throw shooting performance as supporting argument for poor coaching... Please.
 



I have found a new lower stress way to watch Gopher road games. Was busy tonight so I just listened to the last 5 minutes on the radio on the way home. Now I am sitting here watching the replay and my gut is not churning. Excellent. I just saw it: A Buggs, Diedhou, Konate front court! Awesome! They actually looked decent defensively and Gaston did not look lost. Next season starts now.
 

If only the crazy blanket lady would have came out of nowhere and started razzing the nebraska fans on there home court I think we would have had a chance. I got to put this loss on the crazy blanket lady not showing up tonight. What a great disappointment.
 

Look on the bright side folks. All of the other 800 channels were covering the Sate of the Union/Campaign speech.
