Staff Picks – Week 10

Over the course of the college football season, the GopherHole.com writers will be engaging in an intense battle to see who is the most intelligent (or luckiest) football fan of the bunch. Each week we will give our predictions for each Big Ten game along with a few national games. To make things more interesting, a special guest will make his/her predictions each week as well, along with a member of The Hole. We’ll be charting the results all season and come January we will know without a doubt who the smartest (or luckiest) person is.

This weeks celebrity guest is Matt Perkins. An Appleton, Wisconsin native, Perkins spurned his home-state schools to attend The U and is the current Gopher football writer for the Minnesota Daily. Perkins covered the Gopher baseball team last spring and wrote for collegebaseballdigest.com over the summer and currently has a popular blog on sportingnews.com. One of the first interviews he conducted as
the Gopher baseball beat writer was with legendary Gopher and Twin, PaulMolitor.
