The Gophers offense exploded for a dominating 62-10 win over Western Illinois on Saturday, improving to 2-0 on the season. Both the passing and running game were dialed in, leading to 679 yards of offense, including Tanner Morgan’s big day as he finished 14/18 for 287 yards, a TD and a rushing TD. Mo Ibrahim and Trey Potts continued to dominate on the ground as they each rushed for two TDs. Following the game, Gophers P.J. Fleck, Morgan and Chris Autman Bell addressed the media.
