Subject: Big weekends
These next two weekends should say a lot about the upcoming class
Jon Doty Minnesota(Jan 14), K-State(Jan 21)
Anthony Crosson- Last visit- Maryland(Jan 7)
Marco Cooper- Tennessee(Jan 14), Wisc. (Jan 21)
Darrell Reid- Decision by Jan 15
Troy Bennett- Minnesota (Jan 14), Cuse (Jan 21)
Domonique Sims- Last visit Colorado(Jan 14)
Shirdonya Mitchell- ????
Shane Boyd- Clemson (Jan 14), Minnesota(Jan 21)
Marcus Sanders- Mich St. (Jan 14) Last visit
I’d like to get them all but so would the other schools. I think if we land 1/3 of the above group we should consider ourselves very lucky.
I think we will step up the recruiting of Shane Boyd a notch and we really want Sanders as well. Can we get Doty to leave the state of Iowa? I think we have a great shot a Bennett, Reid sticks with Ohio State and Sims and Cooper are too obvious to require elaboration.
Any other visits that I missed or studs that have already visited and making their final visits elsewhere?
Anyone who doesn’t think this class is going to be one of the best in recent Gopher memory doesn’t bleed Maroon and Gold.
