Fortunately for Minnesota fans, they’re receiving one of the most promising QBs out of a star-studded 2024 lineup, and he goes by the name Max Brosmer.
From New Hampshire to Minnesota
Brosmer achieved impressive statistics while playing for New Hampshire. Last season, he achieved the most number of passing yards in the FCS, with 3,464 yards, an average of 313 yards per game, and 29 touchdowns.
Under Fleck’s leadership, the Gophers have been deficient in terms of a dynamic passing game. The most notable instance occurred in 2019 when Tanner Morgan targeted Rashod Bateman and Tyler Johnson, and this is why Brosmer couldn’t have arrived at a greater time.

At the tail end of April, the Gophers finished spring practice, but Brosmer had only just begun. He will lead a group of receivers to Georgia for the same purpose he did in New Hampshire: to work out, throw, and bond. During Minnesota’s spring break, he repeated the process with the expectation of a larger crowd the next year.
Aside from the potential of a starting position, what else drew him to Minnesota? Although it may seem strange, the correct response is ideal for head coach P.J. Fleck: Failure.
“There’s growth within failure. That’s the fun part. We harp on making mistakes but also getting better. Right after you make a mistake, fix it right after. It’s the coolest feeling ever; it shows guys are putting in work,” Brosmer concluded.
