The showdows is set, as #1 USC and #2 Texas are the only two teams that made it through the season unbeated. Both USC and Texas won in blowout fashion in their final game of the year. There was a bit of shakeup at the top however, as previous #5 LSU and #6 Virginia Tech both lost their conference championship game. UCLA and Fresno State both dropped out this week after each suffered embarassing losses.
