Coaches’ Wives Hosting Charity Fashion Show

The wives of the Minnesota Gophers’ and Minnesota Vikings’ coaching staffs, including Cathy Brewster and Dru Childress, are teaming up for charity. The Pigskin Passion For Fashion Show to benefit Hennepin County Newborns in Need and the National MS Society Minnesota Chapter will be held May 3.

The event includes a brunch and fashion show. Both Mrs. Childress and Mrs. Brewster, along with wives of the rest of both coaching staffs, will model clothing, handbags and accessories from local businesses as part of the fasion show. There will be prizes, music, shopping and a chance to view the work of local artist Leslie Weddell as well. Tickets and more information are available for $28 online at www.VQueen.com.

The Pigskin Passion For Fashion Show will be held at the Lafayette Country Club, located at 2800 Northview Road in Minnetonka Beach, Minn. The event is slated to begin at 11 a.m. and will run until 4 p.m.
