He had a fantastic bowl game, even with the penalties. He was probably our best player on the field that game and he's been our best OL for a couple of years. The penalties were dumb, but they are a one-time thing (he's not a heavily penalized player by any stretch of the imagination) and he plays with fire.

So your post should have said "ESPECIALLY in the bowl game".
 

he has a nasty bit to him. EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED ON THIS GOPHERS OFFENSIVE LINE! I look to those penalties as a turning point in the program. Epping single handedly stood up and said I'm not taking *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# anymore. Wells too.

I agree. Sometimes you gotta take a stand, even if you'll be criticized for it.
Epping forced his personality on the the entire team. That's a leader. He walks the walk.
He works his butt off and backs his actions up with his play.

I understand we all have opinions and someone else can feel totally different
and another player could melt down and be called stupid for it. Not every person,
not every situation is the same in life. How we interpret actions is a very individual thing.
