as I consider and prepare questions for GopherHole's 6th Annual Unscientific Survey. I plan to run the questionnaire shortly after LOI Day (probably mid-February).

The survey is an opportunity to introduce or reintroduce yourselves to the GopherHole membership. Additionally, it's also an opportunity to help the Gopherhole Staff determine what's working, what you like, dislike, or what new additions/suggestions you'd like them to consider for this site. (I want to thank the GopherHole Staff for their suggestion as well as their support of the survey.)

The Survey will have three parts, as in the past: Demographics, GopherHole-related questions, and fun questions. I want to keep the survey fun, fresh, instructive, and manageable (not so long that you wouldn't want to participate). If there are specific questions that you'd like to see in the questionnaire, please send me your suggestion(s).

Go Gophers!!

Excellent. Something to look forward to in the long, dready, college football-less doldrums of winter! :)

Kelly Leeks, Dr. Lloyd Christmas, and I look forward to reviewing the survey and giving final approval prior to posting of the survey.

survey question

I think it was either on the survey before or a thread prior to season 1 but a summary of what section season ticket holders of Gopher Hole are located

Why do you support the team? Especially if not alumni -- region? family?

For non-Gopher football fans...is it really fun coming onto a 3-9 program to spout your views? Not being sarcastic, I am actually curious. IMO, for the most part, non-Gopher basketball fans are clear on who they support and are interesting posters.

Do you meet up with other GopherHolers' at tailgates or BB games?

As, mainly, a lurker, I am curious about these questions.

Thanks

Stand, Sit, or Mixed

Because in-game posture is important to GopherHolers, it's probably time to establish some baseline data on the "stand, sit, or mixed" (like stand on defensive third downs) status of the board.

My hypothesis is that as the quality of play on the field increases, then the percentage of "standers" will go up at TCF.

To know whether this is indeed proven, we'll need some data on where GHers are now. A "butts in the seat" dataset...or not...so to speak.

Noise data would be valuable too...but as the folks in 212 know...Mrs. Billd and myself are outliers...we make noise on every defensive play...and try to moderate on offense...but nonetheless are doing our 12th man part...along with many others on this board.

Anyway, always enjoy the survey. Looking forward to it.

billd, are you a bearded man? i think i sit a few rows behind you and your wife. are you the two that are always yelling in unison >>go, gophers, let's go<< and >>let's go defense, let's go gophers<< etc. if so, there aren't too many fans who shower their pride more than you two. you two are consistently loud every single down! if our fans brought half the passion you two do we'd have the best home field advantage around.

How much ya bench?

Favorite Gopher Hole poster?

Favorite Mike Tyson quote?

Yep, that's us. I also "RAH" at the Rouser's end too.

We have but one voice (per week) to give to our beloved Gophers.

I'm particularly proud of Mrs. Billd. Her commitment to noise is exceptional if not tremendous.

Thanks for the props Go4.:D

Go Gophers! Let's Recruit!
