It is looking like Jack is going to unseat Clowney's hit in the bowl game against Michigan on Sportscenter's best of the best. If you get a chance, go vote for him at ESPN's SportsNation site. He currently is at 66% of the vote.

Team Jack has been doing a phenomenal job of raising awareness and money for pediatric brain cancer research. A higher profile for Jack will benefit this great cause.
 

Officially best of the best...should be. Well done Jack Hoffman and Nebraska.
 

I watched the video on Good Morning America. What a great PR move by U of Nebraska. Classy. Even the whole stadium was cheering, so kudos to Nebraska Fans also.

They had 60,000 fans at the SPRING GAME. Some folks around where I live in Nebraska were criticizing Pelini prior to the Spring Game because it wasn't a sellout.

I don't know that we would get 40,000 even if everyone knew we were going to do something like this. On a related note, is the Gopher Spring Game on the 27th going to be televised on BTN?

I assume the Gopher Spring Game will be on the night of the 27th and replayed on the 28th. I checked the schedules of the other 10 teams versus the B1G Network schedule (which only goes through the 24th), and that's how all the other games lined up. Only Minnesota and Iowa are playing that day, so I'd say it's a lock.

I was scrolling through BTN last night as well and as far as I can tell everybody else is having thier spring game broadcast so I would have to assume we would too.
 

Didn't look like the Cornhuskers vaunted defense was trying very hard on that play. Maybe the Gophers have a shot this year!
 

Just watched that on Sportcenter....if that doesn't make you tear up, nothing will. God bless that little boy.

This is a great post. I’m going to use any Nebraska related thread to make a plug for treating Cornhusker fans with as much class as possible. Anyone who attended last year’s game in Lincoln will probably tell you that Nebraska fans treat you exceptionally well before, during and after the game. I don’t think I have ever attended a game where we got blown out but still felt good about attending. The Nebraska fans never rubbed it in. All I heard was “thank you for coming.” 99% of what I post is nonsense but this is one of the few times where I’m serious when I say welcome Nebraska fans and treat them with the upmost respect. Please save your well deserved harassing of visiting fans for SIN-BAD and the Iowegians. Embrace the Nebraska fans the same way they do us. This could turn out to be a great and FRIENDLY rivalry!
