Check out St. John's schedule to start the Big East season:
Mon, Jan 3 - vs #13 Georgetown
Sat, Jan 8 - @ #15 Notre Dame
Wed, Jan 12 - #4 Syracuse
Sun, Jan 16 - vs #15 Notre Dame
Wed, Jan 19 - @ #23 Louisville
Sat, Jan 22 - vs #25 Cincinnati
Wed, Jan 26 - @ #13 Georgetown
Sun, Jan 30 - vs #1 Duke
It was a nice start to beat Georgetown but they still have 7 straight games against the top 25 left. Has a team ever gone the entire month of January and play nothing but top 25 teams? Obviously Cincy and Louisville may not be ranked when they play St John's in a couple of weeks but the counter to that argument would be that Notre Dame, who is on the list twice, will be moving up with their win over UConn last night.
