Have you ever wondered how far your hair would be blown back when over 320 musicians unleash the MN Rouser in your face? Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to lead over 45,000 screaming fans in the Minnesota spell out? The chance to experience this is here! One fan will have the exciting opportunity to be a Guest Director of the Pride of Minnesota at Homecoming on October 13th.
The winning bidder will receive:
•A field pass granting winner access to the field during 3rd quarter of the Minnesota vs Northwestern football game
•If/When the Gophers score a touchdown during the 3rd quarter, the Guest Director will stand on the ladder in front of the Pride of Minnesota Marching Band and direct the Minnesota Rouser after the extra point attempt is made.
•Guest Director will get to direct the FULL version of the Minnesota Rouser. This includes leading 45,000 fans in the Minnesota spell out.
•If a touchdown is NOT scored by the Gophers during the 3rd quarter, the Guest Director can remain on the field into the 4th quarter until the opportunity to play the Minnesota Rouser arises.
•A Photo of the Guest Director will be displayed on the scoreboard with his/her name and "Guest Director" title while leading the band in the Minnesota Rouser.
•A souvenir photo will be provided courtesy of the University of Minnesota Alumni Band Society and Gopher Photo, official photographer of the UMMB.
Current bid is $250. Bids can only be made in $10 increments or higher. 100% of proceeds from this silent auction go to the Golden Gopher Fund's "Enhancement Fund" to support the University of MInnesota Marching Band.
