Savannah Christian Prep School grad Jalen Myrick is gradually getting more and more playing time at the University of Minnesota. The Golden Gophers defensive back picked off a Middle Tennessee State pass Saturday and raced into the end zone for his first collegiate touchdown.

Myrick is a 2013 graduate of Savannah Christian. He played in Minnesota's final 11 games of the season his freshman year, mostly on special teams. So far this season: 2 Games, 4 Tackles, 1 Interception, 1 Touchdown.
