My God! A Nebraska coach that wins 10 games every season is not good enough to remain coaching there! Sure wish Minnesota had that "problem". Go Gophers!!:clap::cry::cool02:

I think a big problem for Bo is that the expectations are unreasonably high because Bo is an over rated coach. It seems that because Bo yells a lot and wins the games he should the people of Neb. think they should be national contenders. Neb. is very good. Not great. Not even close. To be frank, considering Neb. is a boring state that, outside of football, has nothing to offer, the people there should be ecstatic with the state of their fb program.

I agree 100%!!! Nebraska football is the only show in the state. Maybe they will win a national championship someday with another coach. Go Gophers!!

That's sounds good but remember the Cornhukers sycophants around here who constantly told us that now that Callahan and Cosgrove were gone the days of the Huskers giving-up 40, 50, 60 or SEVENTY POINTS were long gone.

Facts were only regarded as pesky little things to ignore. Yep, once they rid of those guys and got Pellini they'd blow through the Big Ten and onto one championship after another.

How's that going by the way?

honestly i don't blame them for being pissed about pelini. he's had a miserable defense for a long time with a team that is historically known as being solid defensively. being that they're the only show in the state, and that Nebraska kids, much more so than we have here, for the most part would love nothing more than to go there. are expectations unreasonably high? perhaps, but i'd love it if we had expectations that were like that. that drove this program to be better. i hope one day we're unhappy with our team not winning 8=10 games every year. now that would be a sight to see.

With that program, whether you were the next guy or the fourth guy after him...you're always going to be compared to Tom Osborne. The fact that Pelini is a hot-headed, foul mouthed jackass personally doesn't endear him to his fans either, especially when things aren't going great on the field.

Already? This is the same school who fired Solich after going 58-19.

agreed. when i was down there last year with a big Neb booster for the Gopher game, everything was always related back to how great Tom was. That's a big shadow to try to step out of

The Black Shirts are no longer on the field. It started in the sixties by Monte Kiffin the LB coach under Bob Devaney Lloyd Voss, Wayne Melan, Jerry Murtah, Larry Jacobsen, Dana Stevenson, Monte Johnson, Willie Harper it later saw Barrett Rudd, Neil Smith. They are dismayed at the defense of today. Suh was the last defender. Nebraska is beatable and Opponents sense it. UCLA proved it. None of those former great defenders is walking in the door. But some maybe knocking it down. Pelini is on a very short leash.

Older brother who is an Neb. alum was at the game. Fans started to streaming out of the stadium
at the end of the third quarter.

We should pin this to the top for every time some troll says that only happens in Minnesota.

Remember when we had a fire Jerry Kill website? That was a strange time.

But honestly, Pelini loses this weekend he might be done. Fans are seemingly split 50/50 already in terms of keeping him around, with lovely threads like "vote with your feet, don't go to the Minnesota game" on their message boards.
