For some stroke of awesomeness SunCountry or Delta offered a single day R/T flight down to Orlando with like a 0500 MSP departure and return to MSP around from Orland at 1900....I am not sure how many people might be more willing to attend or be able to attend if that was an option worth debating.

As with anything else it would depend on the cost per ticket. If the package was setup at a pretty extreme discount given the single day nature of it then it would be something to consider, if the tickets were still going to cost a small fortune then no it wouldn't be worth it.

Yes, definitely. Or a one night option would be perfect.

...and you were willing to pay $700-900, because that's what it would cost them to provide that service. Easy ain't free.

I am in. The time is the issue.

I agree. There are just a lot of cheapskates that think "good will" will get them to the game. Pay to play.

Why ask? Unless you know decision makers at Sun Country who could make it happen for a reasonable fare..

I'd take a bus trip if one was offered. I looked at Greyhound, it would cost $381 round trip, and take about 35-39 hours, depending on when you caught the bus. A chartered bus, because it didn't need to make stops to pick up and drop off passengers and there were no transfers could get there much faster. Also, because it would be full, it could be offered for less money.

This is my (last) hope because I can't pay $700 to fly.

I took a look at Greyhound's schedule, you could take a 12:15 PM bus out of Minneapolis, and arrive at 5 AM in Orlando. You could then watch the game, and take the 11:35 bus back to Minneapolis, which would get you back in Minneapolis at 10:10 AM on Saturday the 3rd. The bus trip would be $318 in advance, and you would have to get your own ticket to the game. You would avoid paying for a hotel, because the only sleep you would get would be on the bus. It's possible, but it's a rather grueling trip, with two transfers there and two transfers back.
