nice to see blake finally hit one with 18 seconds left......a few more earlier and they wouldn't have been in this position...

Agreed. It's the same set of mistakes over and over and over and over....game after game after game after game. At this point, I'm actually happy they played hard because that's been hard enough to achieve over the past few games.

Sampson also just stood there while a guy dove in for an uncontested layup. Literally. Didn't even move. That was right after the Devoe pass to nowhere. Add it all up and it's easy to see why these guys losing game after game at this point is almost expected. Like I said earlier, it's the same stupid things over-and-over-and-over-etc....
 

Instead of getting an easy foul before, they leave DJ to have to reach to stop the clock and foul out, great teamwork there
 

The NIT is up in the air at this point. We might not win another game this year.
 

It's been the same story all year. Any adversity appears and everybody completely losses it. It's just the way these guys are. A team makes a run these guys fold up the tent and go home sucking their thumbs. I've come not to expect anything else.
 


Iowa just rocked NU...Indiana has played well against teams and they beat us. Could be in for a losing season.
 


Theres just not a lot of Big 10 talent on this team.
 

god it must be nice to have a guy you can count on to make all his free throws......I wonder what that's like
 

I just noticed that NU hits every freethrow. They play lots of guards though. Minny is worse than memphis in 08 your right. Pathetic.

I'm not so sure about the physical talent not being there. But one thing is for sure: these guys have absolutely NO mental toughness anywhere. They're perfectly content with the "well, we were close" mindset. It's been that way all year.
