I've heard two things about transfering. And I don't know the rule. If a coach leaves is the student able to leave without a lost transfer year?

He would have to sit out a year.

He would have to sit out a year unless the NCAA would give him special permission and that only happens if their is special circumstances. In this case that wouldnt happen he would have to sit a year before being able to play.
