Say Goodbye to In-Season Tournaments as We Know ‘Em
There were 29 in-season tournaments this season. It will be interesting to see how much that number shrinks as the major conferences move away from giving the “little guys” opportunities to improve their NCAA Tournament resumes. For example, the new Players Era Festival (NIL payments to players) will be 16 teams (up from 8) next season, with the trickle-down impact being watered-down fields in traditionally strong tournaments like the Maui Invitational. (to this day I still miss the Great Alaska Shootout, RIP 2017)

These are always interesting reads. Thank you.

The SEC is deeeeeeep. I wouldn't mind at all if Bruce Pearl won it all.

Thank you, BB. Appreciated!

Hard to find any fault with SEC hoops this season. Ridiculously successful pre-conference. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out for total bids.

You believe the Cyclones have the horses to win it all eh? I'm jealous of the as a couple friends are grads and they love I state.
