This game was easy money. Hangover city. The last two weeks for Northwestern played out about as well as it could have for the Rodents. Hard fought loss at home to OSU, boat-raced and dominated by Wisky. And apparently physically beat up as well; both Colter and Mark in and out of the NU locker room throughout the game with tender ankles! sounds like Mark's could be worse than Colter's. Time will tell.

Nice to see whiskey throwing the ball on fourth down up 35-6 with their starters in and about 1 minute left in the game. This way I can forget about having any respect for the new coaching staff. Same jack-holes, different day.

I hate to say it, but Wisconsin may have found its Bierman; good defenses, good offenses. And this is his first year.

If you want to crown them, then crown them. There is a lot of football still to play tho.

Disagree All fat Burt's recruits and fat Burt always claimed that 2013 would be his best team. Will see where the team is three or four years down the road.

8-9 seniors on defense? I should hope they look decent on defense.

I hope Fat Bret likes his paychecks in Fayetteville. Railroaded 52-7 at home by South Carolina.

They were on the NW 30. Would you have them kick a field goal up by 29 or punt from the 30? They weren't trying to score, they were trying to maintain possession. I assure you that Fitz and his players were in no way offended by this.

Just curious what you would have preferred UW to do in that situation? How much would you have criticized the decision if they attempted to kick a field goal and actually put more points on the board? If get the first down on 4th and 5 from the 30, they just kneel down a few times and the game is over.

If he manages to go winless in the SEC he might not make it past this year. They are nuts out there....couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Horrid thought, what if Bielema gets the axe and Kill retires at the end of this year...would you think about hiring Bielema?

Slightly off topic, but think about how the Arkansas fans feel: Petrino rebuilds team, gets (rightly) fired in April 2012, Arkansas hires John L. Smith, team opens season ranked #10, finishes season 4-8, and now Bielema has team 0-3 in the conference and their next game is at Alabama.

Don't you have a cow to do unspeakable things to right now? That is what you people do, right?

He was posting that at the same time that he was doing unspeakable things to a cow.

It is called multitasking.

Punt the ball out of the stadium. I'm not particularly offended. I'm old and the game was played differently way back when, but if you're up 35-6 at that point in the game, either hand it off or punt. What does another first down matter? But again, this is how the game is played now and as long as it doesn't lead to any knockdown drag-out fights, who really cares?

Wisconsin is pretty good and their brand of ball is a perfect match-up against Northwestern. Northwestern has had its moments this season, but I wouldn't call them particularly physical and Wisconsin is all of that. If Gordon declares for the draft, he'll be a 1st round pick. Could be the best back they've had since Dayne (and will probably be a better pro than Dayne).

I would like to nominate this for dumbest post of the year. For me, dumbest post I've ever seen on Gopherhole. Ding ding ding...winner!

You should receive a lifetime ban from this board for even uttering those words!

Definitely a nomination for a dpodoll award.

Hey I said horrid thought, doesn't mean I would do it. I knew that would rile people up.

Andersen has already landed some really great recruits, like dual threat QBs DJ Gillins from Florida (2014) and Austin Kafentis (2015) from Utah. Looking at the rest of the 2014 list, there are a lot of stars: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/school/_/id/275/class/2014

Also, this weekend was arguably the biggest recruiting weekend in Wisconsin football history. 9 out of state players, including the #1 RB in the country from California, one of the biggest OL recruits from CA, A WR from Virginia, a CB from Texas, a Safety from Florida and a CB from Florida. Link: http://host.madison.com/sports/coll...cle_4f4efeec-0f0c-55db-b314-3efb3e7ff677.html

Not to mention there are already some very talented freshmen and Sophomores in Madison getting playing time. Off the top of my head: Stave, Clement, Erickson, Jacobs, Biegel, McEvoy, Shelton, and Caputo. All saw playing time on Saturday and played well.

Bart Houston, a former 4 star QB is a redshirt freshman and Clement as you mentioned was a 4 star running back that is a freshman this year, he already has 2 or 3 100 yard rushing performances, so even if Andersen can't recruit on his own(which doesn't seem to be the case reading from you're post) it will take a while for Andersen to run out of Bielema's talent

You know who else was a top duel threat qb Mardquis Gray, heck he went to the elite 11 camp and we all know how that turned out
