Wisconsin staff member Jack Del Rio arrested early Friday for operating while intoxicated after a car he was driving hit a street sign & broke fence.

I don't get these advisor positions. What the hell do they do?
Jerry Kill seems to be the king of these. Just Sayin'

I heard the WI made him resign because he blew under a .20. The WI program wants coaches who can handle their liquor. They feel this may impact them being able to recruit the type of recruits they typically want to bring into the WI program.

Coaching requirements:
a.) Handle liquor
b.) Be able to properly pee into a sink.

All joking aside - Drinking and driving is dumb. No reason to be doing this in a world with Uber.

Well, that answers the question “whatever happened to Jack Del Rio?”
I guess it makes sense. With all the analyst positions teams can have now old coaches or guys between jobs can just snag an analyst position somewhere for a year or two to stay around the game and make some money while they look for their next opportunity.

I am assuming someone actually knows, but my guess is that they are limited in what they can do. Guessing they cannot recruit, perhaps limited contact hours with players during the week, but they can help coach the coaches with game planning, in-game decisions, etc. 100% my guess.

Pretty sure most of those analyst positions are prohibited from working with players which was part of the reason Kill wasn't willing to settle into one of those roles.
