Any predictions on the game time for Wisconsin? Any chance of a night game? If it's a night game I might have a chance of going.

No night games in the big ten after October.

This. It will not be a night game, but has a chance to be a 2:30 game. Nebraska-Penn State and Michigan-Iowa are that week as well, and while those will garner attention, if both the Gophers and Badgers are 8-2, ours would be the more relevant game nationally.

Hey bkrownd, just noticed that you attended the U from 1987-1993. After reading some many posts through the years from Badger fans, what was it like being in school when College Football was invented? :cool02:

I noticed there is a hockey game that evening at 7:00. Does that have any impact on the kickoff time? If so I would think it would be an 11am start.

My guess:

Illinois-Purdue 11:00 BTN
Indiana-Ohio State 11 AM ESPN/2
Michigan-Iowa 11 AM ESPN/2
Nebraska-Penn State 2:30 ABC
Wisconsin-Minnesota 2:30 BTN

Michigan-Iowa and Nebraska-PSU could flip. Either the Wisconsin or Michigan State game is required to be on BTN, and because the Purdue-Indiana and Northwestern-Illinois games the weekend of 11/30 have BTN written all over them, that moves the MSU game up the ladder.

It always seems to be colder at 11am compared to 7pm. Usually no wind at 7pm. And night games are always more fun. Sure do hate 11am games.

One thing to note: Gopher hockey plays UMD Saturday night on 11/23.

As much as I'd like a 2:30 game, don't be surprised if the U quietly suggests to some of the powers that be to try to make it an 11AM game. Why they couldn't have done a Friday/Sunday series like they did when Nebraska was in town with Boston College is beyond me. It's like they find a solution to one problem, but then don't ask themselves if the same problem has a chance of occurring the rest of the season, either in basketball or hockey.

Don't be surprised to see the hockey game be moved too. They just default set the hockey for the normal Saturday faceoff time because they didn't know what football would be doing. Last season they had one game where FB was an 11am kick and the hockey game was at 8pm, so that could be a possibility. If TV decided they want football to be a 2:30, I guarantee you hockey will be moved to Sunday PM. Its just UMD, so travel issues aren't a problem as they can just bus home.

They only wanted to move the hockey game once, once it is known what time the FB game is. They didn't want to move the hockey game to Sunday and then move it again to Sat night when it looks like they can play Sat night.

crumbs :( Maybe I can make the second half...

Bucky football was invisible when I was an undergrad, but IIRC it was all about the HOCKEY
