I wonder how they are feeling now, WCCO still on the C-USA title game, which is on OT. Wisconsin fans must be throwing a fit about it and going on a rant. hahahaha.

a tear, a tear. how hoping the memphis vs. smu game goes into 4 or 5 OT's just because. :p

Wonder if in Wisc and Indiana CBS is showing the game? IF NOT - there's some pissed off fans....

Serves them right after how the uw fans were acting at the sports bar I was at yesterday in mpls. They were acting like they just won the big ten title by beating Michigan. Acting like gods gift to NCAA basketball was not cool.

Anything any networks can do to piss off Wisky fans is fine with me.

Sounds a lot like MN Gopher fans. In fact, sounds a lot like every fan base.

What did we do to deserve a lifetime worth of mediocrity? Honestly, how does Bo Ryan do it with this set of guys?

What I don't understand is why people pretend he's playing with a bunch of walk-ons. Most of the players in their rotation were highly recruited and players Minnesota would love to have. They don't recruit on the level of MSU/OSU/Michigan, but they're not playing with a SDSU-type roster either.

This is by far his worst team talent wise in a long time because of the season long injuries he's had to deal with.

Still not true.

Yet before the season started everyone on here was saying that if he finished top 4 this year that everyone would be shocked? Now he's 8 and a half minutes away from the big ten final.

Many may have said that, I was not one of them. Bo has always gotten good recruits. Great coach, no doubt about it, but as DP said, he's not out there with a D2 roster.

His team that is healthy is still rivals rated higher than the Gophers line up.

Andy Katz seems to think the same.

@ESPNAndyKatz: Anyone else questioning Bo Ryan's coach of the year award in the Big Ten? This is easily his best job (lose PG to start year).

The champs of mediocrity will be all over this.

Doug Gottlieb dislikes Crean's strategy of pulling Ferrel, Zeller, and Oladipo at the same time. I wonder if he watches the Gophers?

All over it for what? He replaced a 3-star PG with that PG's 3-Star back up. Not sure how that relates to the Gophers losing a 3-star and 4-star PG in one season or their unquestionable best player.

I'd be really impressed if Bo did this with only a freshman walk on PG and not allowed to play one of Dekker or Bergerren. That's about the only way you get talent wise to where the Gophers were when Al got hurt and Devoe left.

Exhibit A. Wisconsin's GM is clearly superior, let's fire our GM.

I'm a badger fan and can even recognize the *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#-baggery of this post.

Are you saying God didn't win this game for the Badgers in order to bless his true followers, Badger fans?

It was a great win for Wisconsin. They played really well and absolutely own Crean (thank you for that at least). Turning into a very quality season for them.

exactly. MN has 3-4 totally wasted scholarships. If they had been filled with the players who did not leave, odds are that MN would be a better team.

I'd still take Bo over Tubs any day of the week.

I wouldn't say totally wasted, but no, not guys you'd sign not in an emergency.

However, if we are taking overall career or career prior to MN. Tubby has Bo beat. Recent successn? Obviously Ryan wins there.
