UW quarterback Jack Coan will be out indefinitely after injuring foot at practice

Jack Coan has started 18 games and played in 25 for UW. No other quarterback on the roster has started a college game.

Guess we'll see if the Mertz hype is real. He'll have worked out any kinks by the time we play I think, but still a new QB so anything could happen.

Mertz had a lot of hype coming to Wisconsin. Will get to see what he can do, but losing the QB/RB/WR1 from last year will be a big jump.
