After looking at some recent games, I don't think many people appreciate how ridiculously tough it is to win on the road in the Big 10.
Look at Purdue; they shell MSU at home and look like great. Next game at OSU, they get run off the court, and look like they don't belong in the A-10. They play us at home today, and look phenomenal again.
Wisconsin; shells NU by 40 last week, and goes into Happy Valley today at PSU and gets beat, just like MSU and IL did less than a month ago.
The #1 team in the country embarrasses Purdue in Columbus, and looks like they could honestly compete with the T-Wolves. They go into Evanston against a team that, based on their available roster (no Coble, Shurna, or Ryan), looks like they belong in the MIAC...and OSU literally escapes with a 1 point victory in a game that NU easily could've won.
I think that as fans, you should never get too up with a win, or down with a loss, because anything can happen the next game.
Bottom line, college basketball, and the Big 10 especially, is crazy. That's what's fun about it.
