Minnesota
The Gophers were a slight winner Wednesday. Indiana could be a tough team, but getting the Hoosiers at home should be enough for Minnesota. The Gophers had a relatively easy nonconference schedule set up with only BYU at home as the lone challenger.

The B1G released its new schedule for the 2020 college football season. It seemed to protect the contenders.

Outside of last year, I've never felt the gophers could look past an opponent.

So outside of say a change from BRUTAL to the easiest schedule ... I'm not really sure you can count chickens on the schedule for most of these teams.

I would like to think that Minnesota will be able to take advantage of the chaos at Michigan State to get a quick W. After that, four straight trophy games and consecutive road trips to Wisconsin and Nebraska have me a little worried.

My expectations for this season have gone out of the window.

It's the friggin Big Ten, there are always going to be tough games on the schedule. Not sure why this schedule would cause anyone to toss expectations out the window. We have a tough stretch early and then it opens up and looks very promising late. As long as we do no worse then 2-2 in the Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska stretch we should be in for another very good season.

Having MSU as game one is a very good thing. This is not the same MSU as a few years ago and they are undergoing an overhaul.

I think just generally 2020, losing a WR we thought we'd have, and all the randoness of 2020 is good reason to not know what to expect.
