Montee Ball was impressive. Hard to argue with that. He was more impressive than I recall in other games the Badgers have had this year. With any luck, he'll decide to test the NFL waters in the spring.

Sure was nice to see Russell Wilson and a majority of the starting offensive line on the field with 2 minutes left in a 42-13 game. Really? They needed Wilson to come in on the last possession or two?

Perhaps they were just humping the game into submission?

EXCELLENT! They didn't pound it in, so you couldn't whine about them, running up the score......so you complain about the manner with which they decided to hand the ball off and run the clock out. Nice job.....I was curious what whining I'd find. Didn't expect Wilson handing the ball off would be it.

Their offensive line was more impressive than Ball. They gave him huge holes to run through and at times gave Wilson all day to throw

The offensive line was certainly impressive. But it was Montee Ball making would-be tacklers look foolish out there today.

You won. Now get the eff out of here and we'll see you next year. There was a Badger fan in the chat room today and he was a really nice guy and wasn't dumping like you are now. So just go already.

The best part of Wilson being in late is that the Badgers are not developing a QB for next year. I predict that they fall back into having rather mundane QB play. In other words the same old Badgers.

I missed most of the 4th quarter, but I think the Badgers could have scored 70 if they had been so inclined. We were flat. They were hitting on all cylinders. I thought the Badgers really dialed back the playbook quite a bit after they got out to a three touchdown lead.

Still can't figure out why Bielema (or any coach with the game well in hand) doesn't rotate in more subs.

Badger fan here obviously. I don't know the deal with Bielema but I have the same issue with Bo Ryan, who often has the starting five in late in the game in a blowout. But I think Ryan has a reason for it: he strongly believes that you earn game time during practice. If you haven't been showing up well in practice, you just don't get game time minutes. It's frustrating to fans, not only to worry about injuries to the starters, but also because we want to see the backups get game time experience. But I can also see Bo's philosophy here.

We'll sure miss him. That's certain. Good kid. As for "...mundane...", take a look at Stocco, Donovan or Tolzien's numbers and gain an education. They combined for five excellent seasons in the last six prior to Wilson. Those seasons included 52 overall wins, victories over Auburn, Arkansas and Miami in bowl games, a Rose Bowl trip and, best of all...

...five wins over Minnesota. Hell, even Dustin Sherer beat you while going 18-31 for 242 yards and a touchdown. That's 8-0 since Stocco was a sophomore and only one win belongs to Wilson.

Our "...mundane..." remains your wet-dream.

My wet dream is to have won a national title.

Bucky passed the ball 4 times in the 2nd half. Does it really matter who is out there handing the ball off to run out the clock?

You're all apparently unaware that Bielema has signed Bart Houston, the top-rated quarterback in California this year, who shows up on campus next summer.

Who cares? If USC or Oregon didn't want him he must be great at handing the ball off.

He looks like he could be a good one, but I doubt he starts next year...

And that will still be far superior to whatever pile of garbage the gophers trot out.
