I swear I can't go through another day of refreshing GopherHole 200 times. I'm starting to dream about the coaching search. That's disturbing LOL!

I just want a coach dammit!

Decided I'm not sleeping until I know.

It's vigil time. Just me and a bottle of whiskey.
 

My guess is that they will leak the name at some point after the Vikings game. This will give us some great initial coverage in Monday's papers and then we'll have much more in Tuesday's papers. It spreads the story out a bit and Mona is a PR legend so he'll know how to maximize it.

Looking forward to seeing the new HC up on the Barn floor next Saturday at the next home game.

If what is being reported as true is true then yes. There's no way a major college coach will be able to sneak into the twin cities tomorrow.
 

It's as bad as the whole Lebron "The Decision" Fiasco...
 

I heard that Joel and about 10 friends are having a party tonight in the athletic office. I guess they are hooking up a computer to a projector, and turning the GopherHole on for about 12 hours of laughs. I guess Joel has already fist pumped 37 times.

I completely forgot about the Vikings - it would be nice to steal some thunder from them.
 



We should know sometime after the coach tells his current team. That is probably the main reason for the delay...out of respect for his present situation.

I am surprised too. That's why I have such doubts that someone has been hired.
 

I think three fairly reliable sources have all said to expect to hear something tomorrow in advance of a press conference on Monday...

Its possible that they all heard misinformation from the same source.
 



MV of FBT was the first one to report that something would happen Monday. He hasn't said much throughout the search so I would assume he wouldn't say anything unless he really knew.

Okay, that makes four fairly trustworthy people all saying we'll know Sunday/Monday.

MV & ATTF are usually right on with their reporting. SO, look for a tweet sometime late tomorrow, and a press conference in the DQ club on Monday.

Crazy Joe nailed it in cyrptic fashion. He didn't hand it to us on a platter, but his hints added up in the end. I expect him to come on here and take a bow soon.

What about his Omaha hint? That's an out of the way location for Randy Edsall.

Agreed. Esp. when Edsall was saying as late as Tuesday that he'd had no contact with Gophers.

What day did the Omaha meeting allegedly take place? I'll do some Flight Aware research if someone can get me that date.
