Will there be more warm Gopher gear next year?

What are people's thoughts on more winter-weight Gophers gear being on the shelves for next season?

I checked my final next best chance this weekend - - no luck.

I did speak with a person at Goldy's who seemed to agree when I mentioned the possibility of more being available following some success and attention this year and last coupled with some cold football dates.

Did anyone get a chance to check Sports Dome in Midway, St. Paul?

I bought some presents I couldn't get thru our local stores on BTN.com. They have a pretty good selection for all B10 teams...little late for shipping, but ck it out.

Goldy's does a piss poor job of getting well designed Gopher gear in their stores. Go to Iowa City or Madison to see how sportswear should be designed and marketed. Goldy's has been given the franchise by our athletic department - god only knows why.

I have never had a problem finding any kind of Gopher gear. I like Goldys Lockerroom, The only bad thing is that it was started by a skunk grad.

I have been looking for a Gopher parka for a couple of years. None to be found in retail outlets nor the internet. I talked to a Goldy rep in November and he said that they are having difficulty finding manufacturers who use the current maroon color. He said they can get black but people want school colors. The UM bookstore had nothing. You can easily find winter wear for most BIG schools and of course, the Pakers and Vikings.

I've never had a problem getting Gopher gear. The bigger issue is that retail is always 3 months ahead. You need to buy the winter gear in August.

I've been looking for a gold pull over sweater (V or Crew neck) for more then 10 years. Governor Carlson used to always wear one. I have a maroon one that is too big for me so I'd go for that too. I look almost every time I'm in a Goldy's but can never find one.
