Will the Gophers finish 9-9 in BT to get to .500 and qualify for the NIT?

This state should expect more from their basketball team than what has been delivered recently and a trip to the NIT or another tournament is nothing to be happy with. We should always have the raw talent on our teams to expect to make, or make a strong run at, the NCAA tourney on a regular basis. Here we are talking about whether going 9-9 in the Big Ten to get to .500 will get us to the NIT. That is pretty sad.

When the U is the only division 1 team in the State, you are correct. We should be better than we are and we should have more in-state talent staying home. I am not sure why the U struggles so much to bring in its own kids, let alone elite players from other States.

i just don't think this team has it in them to finish 9-5 the rest of the way. not with the remaining schedule. heck, not with ndsu's remaining schedule. so i voted no and i stand by that.
