Will Glen "Miss-Me-Yet" Mason Be Allowed To Interview

A little birdy told me Mason may oversee the installation of cash registers at TCF for the upcoming season.

I think Mason will be too busy interviewing for other jobs. I mean he's so good he's gotten offers from tons of other big schools.

Seriously, Mason is gone and will never be back. Looking back now, he still should have been fired when he was, nothing has changed.

Mason had us at the brink BEFORE the new stadium. I see you are perfectly willing to watch MACturi shuffle in brewcrew II?

How do you know what offers Mason has entertained? Are you his agent?

Yes, I miss Mason, but it's stupid to think he'd interview or BE interview for this position. At least Mason brought us some signature wins, and took care of business against these lower teams that Brewster can't even beat. That being said, it was time for Mason to leave, and now it's long PAST time for Brewster to leave...otherwise there is no hope at all.

Don't underestimate yourself, you are quite dumb. Mason never had the fire it took to bring Minnesota to the top tier. Brewster has the fire, just no fuel.

Brewster just couldn't decide what fuel to use, he kept switching.

I'm dumb, you're dumb, everybody is dumb, dumb, dumb....

The brink of what? There was never any finish to any of Mason's teams. He did a decent job here, but the program wasn't elevating. If I were Maturi, I would have fired him when he did the salary power play. Instead he gets an extension and lays an egg against Virginia the next day in one of the most uninspired coaching jobs I've ever witnessed.

Villifier, I can only guess that you are Luke Tressel.

I was a fan of what Mason did in his time here...he took a less than average program and made it average. It was time for a change, unfortunately the change went from an average program to a horrible program.
Brewster was a lifetime TE's coach for a reason. Much like water, talent finds its own level. Brewster's level is that of Jim Wacker.

Never said I am happy with Brewster. I was optimistic until recently that he could get the job done, obviously he can't. Mason's time here had run it's course. It was time to make a change.

One of two things probably happened after he left:
1. He didn't get any good head coaching offers
2. He's decided he doesn't want to coach anymore

Mason may have had a few "signature wins" as you say, Penn state being a big one, but considering the overall team record and performance, the "signature's" value was mediocre and not worth much.

Look guys....Mason is gone. He did a good job while here without a stadium and with
meager resources. He's probably very happy living life right now.

If/when it comes time to find someone new, let's focus on who realistically will
interview and show interest.

Mason as AD......on the other hand.....stranger things have happened.
