Gophers need to rise up for this one and be prepared for a tough battle to the end. Hopefully, we are prepared to play a complete game as we did against the Cornhuskers. Only a similarly intense and focused effort will guarantee a competitive game and possible victory.

I haven't watched a lot of Northwestern football this year but from what I have gathered they have a adequate running game and defense but their passing game is a liability.

Defense is 8th in B1G games ppg allowed.
Offense is 7th in B1G games rushing yards per game.
Offense 3rd worst total pass yards in B1G games.
Preston Stone has lowest completion % in conference games for B1G qbs.

I have watched them play. They compete and "get after" the opponents.

They usually give us problems and I think they’re playing better than we are at this point.

It'll be a fight. Bad weather, bad field conditions, tougher team will win. Hope that's us, but we haven't looked the part. Need the oline to show up like they did vs Nebraska, need our leaders, Taylor and Brockington to make plays

Not really related to Northwestern directly but during the Fleck era I have felt the Gophers have been decent on the road and playing opponents on the road vs at home hasn't been as big of a deal as it has been in the past. Then along came 2025. Its hard to imagine the Gophers playing worse on the road than what we have seen this season. And now it is down to the last road opportunity, against Northwestern - on a baseball field in November. The whole thing makes me nervous.

It will be interesting to see how things go... either a hungry angry team looking to take out their road frustrations, or a squad quick to sink into the "here we go again" mode.

Haven't seen anything on the road this year that leads me to believe MN will win this game. Don't think there is a big difference between these two teams. If it were at home I would feel fairly confident MN could win the game, but on the road I do not. Hope they blow them out and I am totally wrong.

NUball and Fleckball are similar. From what I have seen recently NW is better at it than UM in spite of their recent losses. NU is a very physical team and if they can establish their run game, its over.
