...seem to find a way to defend Manny Harris and DeShawn Sims. Other Big Ten teams clearly have. We make these two look like damn NBA lottery picks in our two games this season. 92 points between the two of them. Ugh.

At first glance we should have the length and athleticism to hang with them. What gives? Poor preparation? Lack of focus?

Just frustrated that other conference teams have found ways to keep them from going off and looking for answers.

Not sure why. I mean we've only seen them play, what, about 10 times over the years now. Yet every time we see them, our guys act they've never played defense a day in their lives. But tonight was about more than just that. This was just plain lazy. Apparently our guys were more interested in making the flight home than in actually playing the game. It's a shame, but it's what these guys have accepted. Just the way it is.

defending sims and harris

Without Nolen, none of our guards can match Harris atheticism and skill. I would've liked to see dj on him with the big lineup. The problem is we have no one to match Sims. DJ gets bulled over, add Sapmson as well. Iverson is much to slow. This is a matchup one of our missing power forwards could've helped us with. Overall last night was just no effort and everyone looked tired, confused, and drained.
