There's a lot of scenarios where we could end up with an extra player ie: Trevor coming back. Who could transfer? Can they still not renew a scholarship, forcing someone to leave? Mav..........maybe.
 

There is no way it is Mav. Sorry to crush everyone's dreams. Team needs 3 PGs.

I've heard rumors on these boards about Chip leaving--- wouldn't shock me. I think he wants more minutes and the ability to shoot more. Mav is a good candidate too I think.

The "rumors" you are referring to weren't rumors. It was idle speculation about Chip not being happy because there are games he doesn't get a lot of playing time.
Unless we are bringing in a PG, Mav will not be forced out. Only reason he leaves is if he moves down a level for more playing time. If Trevor is the one coming back, Ingram is the one likely to transfer since they play the same position.

We have 3 seniors next year. Unusual for seniors to transfer. 3 juniors. I don't want them to leave, but losing Chip or Mav isn't terminal. 5 sophomores. EE, Oto and Huge Mo have used their redshirt year. Once again, unusual they transfer. We finally have an experienced, deep and balanced squad. I'm not worried about transfers.

If there aren't any rumors of someone transfering this topic doesn't make much sense, other years there were rumors of people leaving, I would hate to think someone was forced out. The only way I would think that would happen is if Trevor comes back and a scholership was needed, otherwise they would be better off keeping the existing players even if some aren't going to get many minutes.

There are no rumors. Closest thing is idle speculation by people on here.
 



It would probably be Ingram, I would say Halvorson, but I believe he's a walkon. I wouldn't use gopherhole message boards a a reliable source for Chip's happiness, but I'd admit it wouldn't shock me if he left and it would open up more minutes for incoming frosh Ellenson. Of course this all assumes Mbakwe comes back, I hope he does, but I'm not holding my breath

One problem, Chip is a better player than Ellenson. At least next year he would be.
 




I think Chip is better too atleast offensively, he gives the team a spark that other guys can't when he's hot, truly a diamond in the rough, I think the smart thing to do would be to Redshirt Ellenson if all the guards are back and hopfully they are. If and it's a mighty big if that Mbakwe transfers, the odd man out is Ingram

Hopefully minngg, m2s/(and all of his other anonymous names), and a few other hell raisers who would best be served in a trashcan.
