A. Badger Fan
B. Hawkeye Fan
C. Packer Fan
D. Sioux Fan

I find them all equally obnoxious and sickening.

Badger fan, bar none, case closed. Arrogant, ignorant, and obnoxious all rolled into one.

This Is Easy

It is not "A" - they are like your sibling you don't really like all that much. You liked beating them up when you were a kid, and in adulthood, verbally dressing them down when they (frequently) need it, but you really don't want to see them get seriously injured or hurt.

Nor is it "C" - they are like that guy you played ball with in high school when you won the conference/region championship. You went on from there, got an education, have varied interests and are comfortable in myriad social and professional situations. However, when you go "back home", all they do, and each and every time you see them, is bring up the "good old days" and relive every play from that, or those, magical season(s) from 20 or 30 years ago. In other words, that's ALL "they got". See: Springsteen's "Glory Days".

Nor is it "D" - they are like that "one-trick pony" cousin who, quite inappropriately, always tries to "one-up" you every time at the family reunion some one (and not YOU) brings up your accomplishments or politely gives you deserved accolades or compliments. No matter what is said, they - in an desperate effort to be relevant - invariably bring up their new pickup, or some episode of living vicariously through the plebeian "exploits" of some cousin, or sister's ex-boyfriend's nephew. See: Seinfeld's "Uncle Leo".

Which brings to the winner . . .

Yes, it is "B" - Herkyfan (and it ain't even close)

So many reasons why, but put simply . . . they are that asshole neighbor that: commits transgressions of both neighborly etiquette and legal statute, while slovenly encroaching on your property, and driving down the value of the entire block/subdivision/township/county - all the while in a fog of utter self-unawareness. Meanwhile, they verbally complain and threaten you over the most trivial of matters. See: Samuel L. Jackson's character in "Lakeview Terrace". I could go on and on and cite (and once again on this forum) the multiple negative incidents and encounters I've had with Herkyfan, but I've already devoted enough time to them.

Whatever - It's nice to be able to back a winner:D

Many Gops fans come off the exact same way, its all about your own perspective...

Was waiting for the first off-topic Skunk comment.

You've made it easy to pick "A"...

I'd like to see a poll of fans who have visited several other Big Ten cities/stadiums as I have. Badger fans are easily the most rude to visitors to their own stadium. And that in my mind is the tipping point for them to "win" this contest. I have no doubt what the outcome would be.

The college fans of surrounding college teams never seem to have much bite, but those "over the hill" pro fans of any team, can be out of control. I am a Packer fan but no longer attend any Vike/Pack games due to the stupidity of both sides.

Badger fans are typically annoying and drunk, but usually can appreciate their place in the world. Especially away from their home turf. On home turf they tend to be much more aggressive with their annoyance and much more drunk. Overall ok, they can be actually fun to go back and forth with.

Packer fans are annoying and drunk, and a bit stupid, they beat their chest and proclaim their small town team with "public ownership" superior, overall they are somewhat clueless about how the rest of the world looks at Green Bay and WI, but don't care either way. I can handle dealing with them.

Sioux fans are just too easy, they are from NoDak, it's all they have, even Bison fans laugh at them typically. If they want to try and seem important, let them, once hockey games/seasons are over they still live in North Dakota. I almost feel sorry for them.

The correct answer is C. I will continue to profess the utter disgraceful behavior of Hawkeye fans, they have all the negative characteristics of the above fans: annoying, drunk, clueless, and from an isolated and pointless place, but have a nasty redneck/pig farmer mean streak. What I witnessed at the dome after the 55-0 game was unreal. I've never seen humans act that way to others. Though I'm still not since I'm not sure squakeye fans count as human. They are they worst people in college sports, bar none and it's not even close. I seriously think there is something in the water down there, maybe the nitrates from fertilizer, they act like mental patients.

B and D for sure! Iowa = UND fans, IMO. If you want to see how classy Sioux fans are, head to the Final 5 this weekend. You will see more a-hole redneck drunks running around, then at a Nascar race.

Sioux fans are the worst. It comes down to which ones are made of pure evil. Sue fans are the worst.

Part of my reason for hating wisky football fans is that I know that most of them are also packer fans, brewers fans, becky hoops, fans, and skunk hockey fans. So I have more reasons to despise those people, but the hate just gets generalized.

With flickertail fans, its all they have, and beating us is all those people have in all of sports, so it has become so focused and particularized, and therefore very, very bitter. That bitterness doesn't exist in Packer/becky fans, assholes though some of them may be.

And Iowa fans just come off as ignorant, dumb, hicks.... not necessarily bitter.

Siouxage fans are the worst. 100% evil. Haha, just ask wisky puckheads.... most will agree.

Sounds like the classic gopher fan......except replace the 20 to 30 years ago with 40 to 50 years ago. Ah, back in 1962......

Sioux fans aren't that bad.

The thing about Sioux fans is they want to have the Gophs get utterly humiliated while we play them. But when they are not playing us, most Sioux fans can at least show an ounce of respect to the Gopher hockey program. We are their only real rivalry. It's natural.

F*k 'em all. Add JBSU to the list while you're at it.

We have to deal with WI across football, bball, and hockey so there is a greater opportunity to rung into them. I don't worry about Iowa bball much. So for a variety of sports I would say WI.

Now, that said, as far as being completely terrible people, from my experiences it is Sue fans hands down. I have many reasons based on past experiences for this attitude that I won't get into, but they seem like genuinely worse human beings.

A buddy of mine is huge into college hockey (he's a Denver fan living in MN). He says that UND is the absolute worst fans in the WCHA.

While I don't really care for any of them, for me, the answer is the Flickertails. Why? Iowa and Wisconsin are good Big Ten institutions with good academics, therefore their fans are slightly intelligent. North Dakota? How about watching someone on your team cheapshot an opponent and knock them from the game, and cheer wildly to see the player go into convultions on the ice. How about cheering wildly for your coach flipping off the referee during the game. How about the arrogant Ralph Engelbastard, the Nazi who puts Sioux emblems everywhere for the sole purpose of defying the American Indians and their supporters. How about the old Ralph where people were allowed to stand next to the glass, banging both fists on it during the entire game, causing the glass to wobble continuously. What do they call that cheer, the caged baboon? Throwing dead gophers on the ice? Throwing coins on the ice? I could go on and on. They sicken me.

IOWA. I've never wanted to punch 12 year olds more in my life than after our last Dome game. The field goal tear-down pissed me off too.

WisconSIN hands down.

Attending games in Iowa City and Beckyville has confirmed it...Becky followers are the worst.

+1--spot on.

Worst fans? Badgers........by far..........

Badgers really suck. Last fall they strutted around the U of M campus like they owned the place. Had to sit next to some of those creeps at the Big Ten bar. The stupid bartender kept serving them shots of whatever poison *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!# they were drinking. Very loud and obnoxious.:mad::mad:

That is one football game I really hated losing. We'll get them in Madison this fall.

Go Gophers!!!!
