It's got to be the new and improved Q! I can't wait!

Coach Kill says that Q can be one of the big surprises not just in the Big 10, but in the country. Let's see him take the first steps toward doing that v UNLV!

I say Stoudemire. I predict an interception and a kickoff return for points.

Here are couple additions to the voting poll: How about the "offensive line"?
How about the "defensive line"? I would vote for either of them!

If "they" have a good game, the Gophers will have a "big" win and a great start!

Good Luck, Gophers!

If Q can be a top tier QB in the B1G this year, there is no reason we can't go 7-5, dare I say even 8-4.

Hopefully the offense. Just remembering last years opener for Wisconsin, UNLV gave them some trouble until the UW offense ran away with it. It was Chris Borland's first game in the middle and he struggled. I'm hoping the Gopher O comes up big and gives the D a nice cushion. As many have stated, UNLV can put some points on the board.

Cooper will have a MONSTER game - (2) forced fumbles one of which he will return for a TD.

I voted for "Q" but would have gone with the offensive line had that been an option.

Go Gophers!

I picked Stoudermire, coming off the injury I think he's hungry to come back onto the field and will make some great plays.

I went with MarQueis, but I could easily see it being Cooper, Stoudermire, or someone unexpected like Barker. I am hoping that both lines get co-stars of the game.

Matt Limegrover for his work with his crew and his weight loss.

Marqueis. UNLV is just not equipped to deal with this dude. It's going to be like a Sherman tank on a Civil War battlefield. Rebels running around yelling "What do we do? What do we do?"

I think 99 should be the first of the bus, and have the first sack of the year. The immeditate pressure up the middle is devestating, and I see Rasheed at a whole new level, relentless.

I voted Gillum. He is relatively unknown and I believe in the unknown.

I'm going with Coach Kill's water boy. No joke at all and no offense to our wonderful coach, but it will be hot and doc will make sure coach is well hydrated, whoever is in charge of giving him water will be a stud at it. GAME BALL!

gotta go with the generic Q answer...so much of our season rides on him, and I am voting for him to be the star, more out of hope than anything else. If Gray booms this year, we could be looking at 7-8 wins, if he stays the same, we are looking at 5-6 wins.

I am hoping Beal has a good game. He has waited a long time for this game!

Absolutely believe it will be Q. I'm thinking around 150 yards rushing, 200 yards passing. Would be a good way to start the season (assuming a W of course!)

Thank you. Bobby Boucher will be on the job! :)

See...even Sid agrees with me!

• Look for Brendan Beal, the Gophers transfer from Florida who has missed two seasons because of injuries and is now healthy, to have a big game defensively against UNLV. Beal, the former Parade All-America, recently has enjoyed some great practices.
