Go Gophers!!

College co-eds at Louisville, you've been warned...

Looks like it's happening. Someone mentioned this as a possibility on here earlier and I didn't think there was a chance -- I was wrong.

They are so stupid for doing this. Jurich is a good (perhaps even great) AD to boot. I don't know what on Earth he's thinking. There's no doubt he's a good (perhaps even great) coach, but he's a scumbag.

How tight are the motorcycle laws in Kentucky?

Wow. Didn't Petrino shop for jobs every year there and then left for the Falcons shortly after getting a big raise and an extension. Lock up the volleyball players!

No doubt, this seems like an odd move.

However...... I know this apparently just drives some people crazy up but in the end, talent wins. Success makes people overlook a lot of things, but this is a really hard concept for some people to get a grip on.

I'm guessing there are some clauses in this contract

LSUfreek is awesome...his gifs are always fantastic!

Yeah, he's a scumbag, but Louisville isn't a destination job, so getting a name coach is going to be tough. They go into the ACC next year, and that means tougher competition. Plus Petrino doesn't have a lot of options. Allegedly the SEC wants no part of him coming down from the conference HQ (and that's saying something). I'd say that the power is with Louisville in this one. If he washes out there on some ethical mess, he's done.

The Arkansas people claim the girlfriends fiancée is the one that caused all the road rash!!!

no way

Pitino really dine at Olive Garden? might as well stay home and have stouffers awful lasagna.

So, I'm reading that Petrino got 24.5 million over 7 years. I bet Papa John has to sell a lot of cruddy pizzas to help pay for this.
Petrino gestured to the AD that he wanted the buyout amount to be 100 million. He's just that solid of a guy.

I'm all for second chances, but this guy is the Elliot Spitzer of college football. People like scandals.
