Right now there is no #51 on the roster.

I like the idea of having the best linebacker wear the number #51. Just seems like the right thing to do, or to aternate weekly
but I like it as an award or incentive idea.

Actually USC has Club 55. Some years there is no one who wears it, it has to be earned

Now, if we did something like this, I would think that would be pretty fitting having someone 'earn' that number for the season. But, make it our own somehow. How that would be done or be determined, I do not know.
