Offense: Leidner with 5 (yes count them 5) touchdowns

Defense: Nick Rallis -he'll be pumped for the start and will make a couple big plays

Specials: sharp shooter carpenter

Offense: Brooks will run for 150+ yards.

Defense: Winfield with a pick

Special Teams: Myrick with a KO Return for a TD.

Shannon Brooks. 200 All purpose yards. 2 TDs.

Brooks and Smith combine for 200 plus yards and two TD's
Mitch runs one in and throws for 170 yards and a TD pass to Brian Smith
Carpenter again solid with a 45 yd field goal.

Shannon Brooks is my favorite Gopher player on Offense in many years (12-13 to be more precise) and I hope he gets 20-25 carries. If he gets enough carries we will win. His cuts are great, his vision is impressive, and he always finishes runs at the goal line or to avoid a 3 yard loss.

The commentator last week seemed to think Smith was the "#1" back for some reason. No Smith is clearly the #2 back, regardless of how good he probably is.

If Shannon had gotten a few more touches last week the outcome may have been different.

Close. But I'm calling Winfield on a blitz for a strip sack, with an Ekpe returning it for a TD (not sure which Ekpe).

On a secondary pick, I expect #6 Johnson to make a huge play and score. (or maybe Gentry finally does it???? HaHaHa) Ty

Leidner takes 3 shots down field connecting on 2. 1 TD with the other leading to a TD. T Johnson on the receiving end of both catches.
